Smallholder farmers across Africa need timely agricultural advice to manage crop diseases, respond to changing weather and improve productivity. AgriScanAI is using artificial intelligence and digital agriculture tools to help bridge that information gap. Elizabeth Mwashuma, Founder and CEO of Good Partners, shares how the platform is being developed around the everyday realities of African farming. AgriScanAI combines AI-powered crop and disease identification, multilingual agricultural advisory, weather forecasts, digital farm records and farmer-to-buyer connections. Its offline functionality also helps farmers access essential information in areas with unreliable internet connectivity. Through the ClimateLaunchpad 2026 programme, supported by GrowthAfrica, AgriScanAI is advancing its ambition to reach 50 million farmers across Africa, helping strengthen agricultural productivity, climate resilience and farmer livelihoods.
