A Dangerous Obsession PC Cathy Bradford’s Scheme | The Bill

PC Cathy Bradford makes a memorable arrival at Sun Hill under the fabricated claim of being a former Hong Kong Inspector, immediately proving her physical capabilities by overpowering an escaping suspect on her very first shift. Her career takes a dark and obsessive turn when she is assigned to the newly established Community Safety Unit alongside TDC Brandon Kane. When Brandon's ex-wife Tanya threatens to take their children to Scotland, Cathy identifies her as an obstacle and begins a calculated campaign of sabotage. Undercover in a local pub, Cathy spikes Tanya's drinks during a lunch date to engineer a drink-driving conviction and a road ban, before stepping in to offer a sympathetic shoulder to a grieving Brandon. To further destroy Tanya's credibility, Cathy exploits a child abuse case involving Brandon's son, Jordan, going so far as to blackmail a schoolteacher to force the official case forward. However, her vindictive scheme is temporarily derailed when Brandon and Tanya unexpectedly agree to a truce for the sake of their family.
