Budget Microphone Comparison on Bass Guitar

After years of collecting random microphones, I decided to make some comparison videos for fun. Have a listen to some dynamic mics under $100 and condensers under $300 on my bass guitar. All mics are positioned about 1 inch away from the grille and 2 inches off axis. Condensers are in cardioid mode with the highpass disabled and pad enabled. A Sterling Ray5 was played on an Ampeg BA112 amp. Overdrive is a Behringer BOD400 pedal. No EQ or post processing other than volume matching.
