Rare Mercedes-Benz W123 Limousine — Full Restoration | Bodywork & Paint

This rare Mercedes-Benz W123 Limousine was discovered sitting inside a warehouse, covered in dust and showing years of neglect. After bringing this unique classic home, we decided to give it a complete restoration from the ground up. In this episode, we focus entirely on the body restoration. The car is completely stripped down before the old paint, deteriorated sound-deadening material, and asphalt undercoating are removed. The body then goes through a thorough cleaning and surface treatment process, followed by electrophoretic coating, high-temperature baking, new paint, and a fresh clear coat. Finally, new sound-deadening material is installed, bringing the body of this rare W123 Limousine back to life. This is only the beginning of the restoration.
