7 days at Annapurna Base Camp with the Chaotic 6 | Monsoon & Landslide | Did we make it through?

This is a 7-day trip from Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) right in the middle of monsoon season - leeches, ongoing rain, clouds, foggy views, and landslides that wiped out some roads and bridges on the trail. Once you reach ABC, you will be rewarded with close views of one of the highest mountains in the world. One of the things I love about trekking is standing in that bowl of mountains, so vast and so big, suddenly all the problems at home felt so small. After 7 days of rain, stairs that never ended, cold, tired, we were just grateful. All that stress in KL? Pfft. Grateful to feel alive and if we can go through this brutal stretch together, I believe we can get through everything.
