Roland TR-1000 Firmware 1.50 Jam – Tighter Timing, Rolls & Rev Pan Delay MFX | Eurorack Techno

Roland TR-1000 firmware 1.50 is out – and it's HUGE! First jam with the update from last night, together with two Eurorack voices. At the beginning: the snappier start/stop. Later on: rolls on point, the new Rev Pan Delay MFX Another big one : pattern changes without audio gap. Allows me now to patch the mixer (Jellymix) with the synth voices into the external in of the TR-1000. ▬▬ TR-1000 FIRMWARE 1.50 – FIRST IMPRESSIONS ▬▬ Timing The timing is improved. No hard numbers from me – numbers will be soon available. But: my OXI One MKII, clocked by the TR-1000, now shows only +/- 0.1 BPM fluctuation. 140 BPM = 139.9 – 140.1 = YES ! Start/stop Jeff Mills style is much snappier and more responsive! Rolls (NOT THE NEW MFX ones !) Rolls are finally working! Much more on the grid. Very good indicator for improved timing. Drumrolls incoming ! New MFX The new FX are the bomb. Especially Rev Pan Delay – super for transition-breakdowns! No more sound gap on pattern changes with kits KEEP KIT EFX & EXT IN (Project Settings) is a very good solution: external audio is not gapped anymore. Roll trick: loop a bar with Roll → change pattern → turn off the roll = voilà, zero audio gap! ▬▬ PATCH NOTES ▬▬ Pad voice Shakmat Ballista Blast (fantastic!) in FM engine, chord mode → Mutable Instruments Ripples filter, modulated by Shakmat Mod Medusa (another winner!) → Noise Engineering Melotus Versio (comes in a bit later in the jam) → Intellijel Jellymix (BOMB!) input 1 Jellymix aux send → Intellijel Swells (ACE!)
