This is What a "Half-Randomized" Hardcore Nuzlocke Looks Like (Pokémon Emerald)

Follow me on Twitter: x.com/XyrnaTheTrainer Randomizer Details: I randomized wild Pokémon and had them match to "similar strength," so that the wild Pokémon can steadily escalate in strength. For example, a Zigzagoon is much more likely to randomize to a Sentret than it would to something like Dragonite. I did NOT randomize enemy trainers (including Gym leaders, Rival battles, and NPC's) so that I could take my fresh, new encounters and still create strategies against the Emerald teams we're all familiar with. I also did NOT randomize items in the field, as well as abilities, move sets, typings, evolutions, or anything else. Full Hardcore Nuzlocke Rule Set: 1. I must catch the first Pokémon I find in each route or area. 2. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or perma-boxed. 3. I must nickname all of my Pokémon. 4. No over-leveling past the next Gym Leader's (or Elite 4) ace. 5. No items in battle (held items okay). 6. Battle mode must be put on set at all times. Clauses: 1. Species clause: If the first Pokémon I find on a new route or area is from the same evolutionary line as a Pokémon I've already caught, I can re-roll the encounter until I find a Pokémon from an evolutionary line that I haven't already caught. 2. Shiny clause: If I find a Shiny Pokémon, regardless of whether or not it is my first encounter in the route or area, I am allowed to catch it due to how incredibly rare it is to find a Shiny in the first place. 3.
