Surah Al Baqarah page 29

1. Verse 197 — Prepare for Hajj with righteousness Hajj takes place during specific months. Pilgrims must avoid sexual relations, sinful behaviour, and arguments during the pilgrimage. Allah reminds us that the best provision is taqwa—consciousness of Him. 2. Verse 198 — Seek Allah’s bounty There is no sin in seeking lawful provision while performing Hajj. After leaving ‘Arafat, believers are commanded to remember Allah at Al-Mash‘ar Al-Haram and thank Him for His guidance. 3. Verse 199 — Follow the prescribed rites Allah commands the Quraysh and other pilgrims to proceed from where the people proceed and seek His forgiveness. No one should consider themselves superior to others; everyone needs Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. 4. Verse 200 — Remember Allah after Hajj After completing the rites, believers are instructed to remember Allah abundantly. Rather than focusing only on worldly benefits, they should seek what is good in the Hereafter. 5. Verses 201–202 — Ask for goodness in both worlds Allah praises those who pray for goodness in this world and the Hereafter and seek protection from the punishment of the Fire. Everyone will receive a share according to what they have earned, and Allah is swift in reckoning. 🌙 TODAY’S REMINDER Hajj teaches humility, patience, and equality before Allah. Remember Him often, seek His forgiveness, and ask for goodness in both this life and the Hereafter. 🤲 O Allah, grant us goodness in this world and the Hereafter, protect us from the Fire, accept our worship, and make us among those who remember You sincerely.
