A full walk through both Pokémon Centers in Osaka. First, Pokémon Center Osaka DX on the 9th floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi (with the Pokémon Café next door), then Pokémon Center Osaka on the 13th floor of LUCUA SOUTH, directly connected to JR Osaka Station. We browse the shelves — plushies, blind-box figures, collab items, Pokémon TCG — try the giant Mega Evolution monitor in Umeda with Dragonite, and finish by unboxing the "Kaichu Collection" we bought.
🏬 SHINSAIBASHI — Pokémon Center Osaka DX
Daimaru Shinsaibashi Main Building, 9F. Directly connected by underground passage to Shinsaibashi Station (Midosuji Line, South Gate) and by walkway to Shinsaibashi PARCO. Note there is a Main Building and a South Building — you want the Main Building. Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno greet you at the entrance. The attached Pokémon Café is reservation-only and slots sell out the moment they open (we didn't get in). The shop itself needs no reservation.
🏬 UMEDA — Pokémon Center Osaka
LUCUA SOUTH, 13F (renamed from Daimaru Umeda in April 2026 — same location). About 5 minutes on foot from JR Osaka Station's Central Exit. The elevators are slow; take the escalators. Has a Pokémon Card Station with regular battle events, and the giant monitor where you place a panel to watch that Pokémon Mega Evolve is only at this store.
💴 PRICES SEEN IN THE VIDEO (tax included, September 2026)
Palm-size plushies from ¥1,320 / Large plushies ¥5,280 / Blind-box figures (Kaichu Collection etc.) ¥1,595 / Slowpoke neck pillow ¥5,280 / Lee collab tote bag ¥8,690 / Poké Ball puzzle ¥3,300
💡 GOOD TO KNOW
Shinsaibashi was busy even on a weekday morning. Weekends are packed, and on holidays or new-release days a numbered ticket system may be in place.
Shinsaibashi offers tax-free shopping on purchases of ¥5,500 or more.
Shinsaibashi felt slightly larger; Umeda is often quieter.
Some days the stores hand out free items — we got a paper Eevee visor.
