DP KITHURE KINDIKI DECLARES WAR ON ILLICIT BREWS, COUNTERFEIT ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, WARNS CARTELS

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating illicit brews, counterfeit alcohol and dangerous drugs across Kenya, warning cartels and unscrupulous businesspeople against endangering the lives of Kenyans for profit. Speaking at Kaguku Shopping Centre in Ithanga, Murang’a County, Kindiki said the government’s development agenda, including the construction of markets, roads, electricity infrastructure and hospitals, would be meaningless if Kenyans continued to suffer and die from poisonous alcoholic drinks and harmful substances.
