Ford Excursion Rear Leaf Spring Upgrade (swap)

The rear leaf springs on my 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo diesel 4x4 were looking really worn out and we are getting ready to start pulling a big travel trailer, so instead of just replacing them with the stock leaf springs, I decided to upgrade to the cheaper and stronger rear leaf springs from a F250/F350. The chassis of an excursion is the same so it is a really easy way to save money on a more common leaf spring and increase your towing on a stock excursion. I used the 43-1261 springs for this, and besides the issues with working on almost 20 year old parts and surface rust the process is really simple and takes much more brawn than brains.
