CIS Top 100 - Mark Savino / Porsche 911 GT3 RS x Kandi Racing x STANG-hero x SRS - 1:55.87

A year ago, Mark Savino clocked a 1:57.39 around Clark International Speedway (CIS) in his Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.2), briefly putting him on top of Time Attack Manila’s Top 100 list. Now he’s back with the same car, but with a few changes aimed at finding even more time. The Hoosier A7s have been replaced by stickier Hoosier A8s, while an SSR Performance CS Carbon Fiber Bonnet from I&I Automotive Modifications adds more front downforce while also saving weight. To help balance the additional aero up front, Mark also fitted a Gunther Werks rear deck lid spoiler sourced through Import Hook Up. The result is a 1:55.87 lap, more than 1.5 secs quicker than his previous best. While the purpose-built Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars have since gone quicker around CIS, Mark’s latest lap earns him a different distinction: the fastest street-legal car currently on Time Attack Manila’s Top 100 list. And considering how much time he’s already found in the same car, there may still be more to come.
