Korean Ballads in Jazz — Vol. 3: Fusion & Modern brings together seven familiar Korean songs and reimagines them through a broader palette of contemporary jazz, fusion, and modern acoustic textures. The melodies remain recognizable, but the musical language becomes more adventurous. Electric guitar, piano, cello, trumpet, and organ move through different moods — from intimate and lyrical passages to stronger rhythmic and harmonic colors. Some tracks stay close to the quiet emotional character of the original songs. Others move further away, allowing the familiar melodies to become the starting point for improvisation and modern jazz interpretation. This album is not meant to recreate the original recordings. It is another way of listening to songs that have remained in Korean memories for many years.
