The Mighty Southfield Reservoir, Fishery Audit #11. What a beauty!!!

The Mighty S, The Flooded Field, Southfield Reservoir… One of, if not THE most prolific feeder fishing venue in the UK. A venue that has seen huge weights of Bream not coming close to winning the top spot, and a single skimmer being worth £10,000. A real stunning place to be sat fishing weather in a match or finessing your fine tuned approach to catching these finicky finned creatures. If you’ve fished here before but never had the chance to walk around the full venue then here it is. Hopefully next time you can venture onto pegs you once didn’t favour or try a chance to fish in the woods. A huge well done to all the bailiffs, club officials and regular maintenance teams on keeping this big old place as beautiful as it is. There’s a level of proud you must feel being responsible for such a stunning water course. So well done to you all👏🏼 Books for the year are £35 and include a huge catalogue of venues including lakes and a lot of river stretches too. The venue is also open to day ticket which can be purchased on the bank.
