DC Internship: Caoilinn Flinn

Notre Dame student Caoilinn Flinn shares her experience working with the United Nations Foundation through the Washington Program’s Global Affairs Track. The Washington Program, through the Keough School of Global Affairs, in partnership with the College of Arts and Letters, immerses students in the political and cultural life of our nation’s capital while they intern part-time and take classes in politics and policy. Students intern in government offices, Congress, nongovernmental organizations, media organizations and cultural institutions. As part of the program, students participate in weekly policy visits with offices and institutions across the Capital District. Together with their internships, these networking opportunities provide students with a valuable head start on their careers.
