1 On 1 With Uncle Neely: CJ Johnson on The Road Ahead + The Support and Criticism of Coach Prime

Colorado football legend, national champion, and Orange Bowl MVP Charles “CJ” Johnson joins Uncle Neely for a powerful ONE ON ONE conversation about Coach Prime, the Colorado Buffaloes, and the future of the program. CJ knows what winning at Colorado looks like. As a quarterback on the Buffaloes’ 1990 national championship team, he stepped in when his team needed him most and helped lead Colorado past Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl. Now, more than three decades later, CJ brings that championship perspective to today’s Buffaloes. With Colorado sitting at 2-3 during its bye week, Uncle Neely and CJ discuss: The first five games of the 2026 season What must change for Colorado to finish strong The challenges facing Coach Prime and his staff Why supporting Coach Prime matters during difficult times What the Buffaloes can accomplish over their final seven games The importance of patience, leadership, and a winning culture This isn’t just another conversation about wins and losses. It’s a discussion about the Colorado football program from someone who helped take it to the mountaintop. ONE ON ONE WITH UNCLE NEELY Only on Thee Pregame Network.
