The album "Fading Halls" is ready: 10 tracks, each about 3 minutes long, totaling around 32 minutes. I am not familiar with the albums "Everywhere at the edge of russian bliss" and "Everywhere in the beginning of nowhere," so I drew inspiration from The Caretaker's "Everywhere at the End of Time" and the general imagery: an old ballroom and fading memory. The melodies and sounds are entirely my own; I haven't sampled anything from those albums. Transitions between tracks: The end of a track slows down like a stopping record and distorts. Then comes a burst of distortion, vinyl crackle, and noise, while the rhythmic thumping of a locked groove repeats every 1.8 seconds. At the end of the transition, the sound of a needle drop is heard, and the next track begins. Tracks: 0:03 «Ballroom, Evening» — A pure waltz: piano, strings, trumpet, double bass. 3:14 «Familiar Melody» — A light foxtrot featuring a clarinet. 6:25 «Music Box» — Glockenspiel and choir. 9:36 «Staircase Down» — Organ and choir, the melody begins to drift. 12:47 «Echo in the Corridor» — Piano arpeggios drowning in reverb. 15:58 «I Don't Remember the Words» — Wordless choir, phrases fading in and out. 19:09 «Stuck Record» — Fragments getting stuck and repeating. 22:20 «Fog» — Dissonant strings, drone, and noise. 25:31 «Empty Hall» — Harp and choir, almost pure reverberation. 28:42 «Silence After the Needle» — Low drone, piano echoes, and fading into the groove.
