Building a GameBoy pocket-color from scratch (N64-Freak board method)

Important edit: it has been brought up that I did not mention whether you can play and charge simultaneously with the battery modification I did and the answer is no that is not recommended and could cause damage. As of 4/12/2023 I do not know of a play and charge kit that is directly compatible with this custom motherboard and the gameboy pocket shell. Whats up everybody i promise when i started this video i had no idea nintendo would drop gameboy games on the switch but here we go. We are making a gameboy pocket color thanks to N64freak and their amazing motherboard replacements. This mod is not for the faint of heart and this is not really set up to be a guide but i hope i included some tips for anyone that wants to give this mod a shot.
