UNMUTED - A Conversation with Music Producer and Musician, Lou Sawdy

UNMUTED is a series celebrating women in the music industry, and raising awareness to the challenges that are still going on behind the scenes. LOU SAWDY - MUSIC PRODUCER + MUSICIAN Lou Sawdy is a Southampton based music producer, creating music with artists of varying age ranges and genres. Her career in music started a little later than the norm, but music was always going to be in her sights, in some shape or form. As a vocalist and guitarist in country band, Lost Post, Lou has the best of both worlds and experiences both sides of the coin in creating and playing music. She also gives back a lot with the work that she does, offering shadowing and assisting opportunities to aspiring producers, and using songwriting as a therapeutic process for those who've experienced some traumatic times in their lives. This is the first UNMUTED feature in video format. I'm excited that you're here, and I hope you enjoy this insightful conversation. Let me know in the comments if there's anything you particularly take away from this chat! Or why not let me know who you might like to hear from in future!
