Are You Ready for the Days of Awe? | Night 4: Lord I have Sinned Against You | Rosh Hashanah 2026

Join Rev. Carla of Grow In God Academy every night at 8:30pm Eastern for the Ten Days of Repentance — the sacred season between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur 5787. Each night we read Psalm 51 together, take one verse as our focus, and pray for cleansing, return, and renewal. Tonight is Night 4 of 10. Tonight's focus: LORD I HAVE SINNED AGAINST YOU, HAVE MERCY. Psalm 51:6 —4 "Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge". God is not after behavior modification. He is after the hidden place, the motives, the wounds, the things we do not even see about ourselves. Most of us repent of what we did. God wants to deal with why we did it. Tonight we go beneath the surface and ask God to reveal truth in the covered-over places, because when you let Him into the hidden part, He does not just clean it. He gives you wisdom there. Whether you are Jewish and observing the Days of Awe, or a Christian discovering the Hebrew roots of your faith, this is a season God set apart for returning to Him. Come as you are. Rosh Hashanah 5787: September 11–13, 2026. Yom Kippur: September 20–21, 2026.
