more power. But one hand-built British single kept humiliating them. The BSA
Gold Star DBD34 was so dominant at the Isle of Man Clubman's TT that 33 of 37
racers rode one — and the class was eventually abolished just to stop it. This
is why one cylinder was enough to beat the twins.
