Thirteen days and around 249 kilometres later, we reached Santander. Family business eventually called me back home, but not before I had fallen in love with this extraordinary pilgrimage — spectacularly beautiful, but challenging to say the least. The mountain climbs were long and difficult. There were times when I genuinely felt like quitting. But powerful forces were close at hand and, when I needed Him most, I believe God guided me to a safe place. This is my personal video account of that journey, filmed on an iPhone 14 Pro in 4K 60fps. My intention was to create a film that focused almost exclusively on the extraordinary beauty of northern Spain in glorious springtime. I hope you enjoy the wonderful sunsets, the mountains, the villages and cities, the forests and trees — and, most importantly, the amazing pilgrims I met along the way. They cared for me, encouraged me, loved me and accompanied me through a journey across one of the world's most beautiful countries. The full Camino del Norte is around 830 kilometres — and I am planning to return next year to to complete the journey — finishing in front of one of the world's most beautiful cathedrals in Santiago de Compostela. Thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoyed making it.
