A woman stands where the living world meets
something else. Watching. Waiting.
Reaching across a shadow she cannot cross.
Mike Oldfield arrived in New York the night
John Lennon was shot — just blocks from where
it happened. He always said the song wasn't
about that. But grief has a way of writing
itself into things without asking permission.
This is our dark cinematic reimagining of one
of the most haunting songs ever written.
We stripped away the brightness and rebuilt it
in shadow — sweeping strings, choir, and the
weight of love that refuses to let go.
Some songs were always meant to sound like this.
