We took a driving test drive of the "Emira 2.0," Lotus' final gasoline-engine model, equipped with a 2.0 Mercedes-Benz AMG four-cylinder high-performance unit, on the winding roads of Hakone. The new Lotus Emira 2.0, featuring luxurious interior and exterior styling, boasts a unique and beautiful supercar aesthetic, apparently inspired by the Evija hyper EV. The chassis uses a bonded aluminum architecture to reduce weight and ensure high rigidity, and the front and rear double wishbone suspension combines Eibach springs with Bilstein dampers. The new inline four-cylinder Emira is powered by a custom-built version of AMG's M139 direct-injection engine, producing a maximum output of 365 PS at 6600 rpm and a maximum torque of 430 Nm between 3000 and 5500 rpm. Performance includes a 0-100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 275 km/h.
