Edinburgh in Late September | Sunny City Walk 4K

Experience Edinburgh with me on a warm and sunny day in late September. It is the 21st of September and autumn is almost here, but Edinburgh still feels surprisingly summery today. It is around 18–20°C, people are still walking around in T-shirts and the city is full of visitors enjoying the sunshine. There are plenty of walking tours around the Old Town, people are still sitting outside cafés and pubs, having coffee and enjoying the warm weather. We pass places like Makars’ Court, The Jolly Judge and Castle Rock, so you can get a little feel for what Edinburgh is actually like at this time of year. There are only a few first signs of autumn appearing — a little colour in the trees here and there — but summer has definitely not disappeared just yet. We start around Edinburgh Castle, walk down Granny’s Green Steps and explore part of the Royal Mile. We also visit Ramsay Garden and Makars’ Court, before continuing towards The Mound and Princes Street Gardens. It is only a short walk through Edinburgh today, but a nice little look at the city at the end of September — what people are wearing, how busy it is and what Edinburgh actually feels like just before autumn really begins. 🎧 No talking.
