Scottish Easter Eggs/References in GTA Games Over the Years! Subscribe for more! Hey guys, as someone from Scotland who loves GTA and has been making Evolution videos on this channel I've decided to do a video on one of my personal favourite things to find in the GTA Series.. which is the Scottish references. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the GTA Headquarters is in Edinburgh, Scotland and the former president of Rockstar North was Leslie Benzies from Aberdeen, Scotland, who was also the lead developer on the GTA Series with responsibilities including GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA Vice City Stories, GTA IV, GTA The Lost and Damned, GTA Chinatown Wars, GTA The Ballad of Gay Tony and GTA V (including GTA Online). Benzies no longer works for Rockstar, but it's still fascinating to see all the Scottish references that was included presumably by him and other staff from Scotland. I hope this isn't the end of the Scottish references/Easter Eggs, but since he's gone I'm presuming it might be.. but the headquarters is still in Edinburgh, so it may be far from over.
