1969 11 23 Georgian Terrace Hotel Ballroom, Atlanta, Georgia

The Allman Brothers Band live at The Ballroom of The Georgian Terrace Hotel located in Atlanta, Georgia. This concert was originally scheduled for The Duke Tire Warehouse. Legal issues moved this concert to a venue closer to downtown Atlanta. Many tapes of this show have been labeled Columbia High School Prom 1970. The date of this show 05/23/70 happens to conflict with 05/23/70 show at DeKalb Junior College in Atlanta. Story has it, they did honor their contract and played at Columbia High School. But I doubt some high school student recorded it. Upon researching the Duane Allman era, Don't Want You No More and Not My Cross To Bear only appeared on the set-lists of 13 concerts from 1969 and 1971. These songs became a main-stay in the sets after his death. I stand by the date and venue until proven otherwise. Enjoy
