Here is a repeated jam track loop of Fire on the Mountain. It was extracted from my copy of the Dead live at Barton Hall (Cornell) in 1977. Chords are B to A Scales - Progression is a B Mixolydian feel so you can use: B Mixolydian B Major Pentatonic B Minor Pentatonic (watch the flat third) E Major scale fingering but think B Mixo tonality (same notes as B Mixolydian) Think A Lydian tonality on the A chord.
