Tucked deep inside the Ghanerao jungle in Rajasthan, Aloof The Luxury Jungle Lodge is one of the most beautiful stays we've ever experienced. Once a royal hunting lodge where Maharajas came to hunt tigers, it has now been turned into a luxury resort. The property is stunning, with a huge swimming pool, sprawling grounds and jungle all around you. Wander the property and you'll find the old tree where Osho came to meditate, a peaceful spot that still carries a special energy. At night, we had a candlelight dinner in the middle of the jungle, with candles glowing all around us and nothing but the sounds of the wild. The next morning we set out on a leopard safari, one of the most thrilling experiences of the trip, followed by high tea. In the evening we headed up a mountain for another high tea, with sweeping views over the entire jungle and Rajasthani folk music drifting through the air.
