NEW 2026 Geely Preface TCR by Cyan Racing - Test Day at Misano Circuit - FIA TCR World Tour Car

I had the pleasure of seeing the new 2026 Geely Preface TCR by Cyan Racing in action during a race car test day at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The car will compete in this season's FIA TCR World Tour, which will make its official debut at this very track in Italy in May. After racing with Lynk & Co., Cyan Racing will begin a new chapter with Geely through a multi-year collaboration to design and build the all-new Geely Preface TCR. This new partnership marks the 30th consecutive year of cooperation between Cyan Racing and automakers, a journey that began in 1996 with Volvo Cars, continued in 2015 with Polestar, in 2018 with Lynk & Co., and from 2026 with Geely. Cyan Racing has won 19 Scandinavian titles and 12 world championship titles since 1996, most recently the 2025 FIA TCR World Tour driver and team titles. The car features a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that complies with TCR technical regulations and has been modified for racing. The exact power and torque specifications of the racing engine have not yet been released, but they will adhere to the TCR regulations' limits (typically around 340-350 hp). La vettura prenderà parte in questa stagione al FIA TCR World Tour che vedrà il suo debutto ufficiale proprio su questa pista, in Italia, nel mese di Maggio. La Cyan Racing, dopo aver gestito in gara le vetture Link & Co, inizierà un nuovo capitolo insieme a Geely attraverso una collaborazione pluriennale, progettando e costruendo la nuovissima Geely Preface TCR. La nuova collaborazione segna il 30° anno consecutivo di cooperazione tra Cyan Racing e le case automobilistiche, un percorso iniziato nel 1996 con Volvo Cars, proseguito nel 2015 con Polestar, nel 2018 con Lynk & Co. e dal 2026 con Geely. Cyan Racing ha conquistato dal 1996 19 titoli scandinavi e 12 titoli mondiali, tra cui, più recentemente, i titoli di pilota e di team della FIA TCR World Tour 2025. La vettura dispone di un motore turbo a quattro cilindri da 2,0 litri, in conformità ai regolamenti tecnici TCR, opportunamente modificato per le competizioni. Al momento, le specifiche esatte di potenza e coppia del motore da corsa non sono ancora state pubblicate, ma rispetteranno i limiti del regolamento TCR (solitamente intorno ai 340-350 CV).
