John Paul Jones (Sea Ballads and Sea Songs with strong folk song ballad influences)

This is a true story (the best I could create it in song) of Captain John Paul Jones' victory over a British warship in 1779 during the American Revolutionary war. It is considered one of the greatest sea victories of the war. And it was during this battle that John Paul Jones cried out the epic phrase (when the British captain asked him to surrender): "I have not yet begun to fight."
