Exploring London’s bustling streets. From the Tower of London, 1000 year old historic citadel and castle on north bank of River Thames, crossing the river via Tower Bridge to Butler's Wharf on the south side of the River Thames. Passing by St Katharine Docks, formerly commercial docks in the Port of London and now a marina, across Tower Bridge, to an area of Southwark known as Shad Thames. Within Shad Thames are many former shipping warehouses converted to luxury residential use, with one of the largest warehouses being the riverside Butler's Wharf. Experience the sights, and real sounds of London along this route. 00:00 Tower of London, historic citadel in London, England 02:02 Tunnel below A100 Tower Bridge Approach 02:48 St Katharine Docks, River Thames, London UK 04:30 St Katharine's Way, London E1 05:56 A100 Tower Bridge Approach, London E1 07:18 A100 Tower Bridge, London 09:40 A100 Tower Bridge Road, London SE1 10:38 Queen Elizabeth Street, London SE1 11:44 Curlew Street, London SE1 12:10 Gainsford Street, London SE1 12:25 Curlew Street, London SE1 12:46 Shad Thames, London SE1 13:04 Butler's Wharf, River Thames, London UK 13:28 Paddle boats on River Thames 13:52 Butler's Wharf, River Thames, London UK 16:16 Downings Roads Moorings, River Thames, London UK Filmed on: GoPro HERO10 Black, GoPro Swivel Mount. Most of my videos are electric wheelchair rides, with a GoPro camera attached to wheelchair filming what is around me. Some are electric wheelchair on road, others are electric wheelchair off road. On the road I mostly use an 8mph wheelchair, off the road I use an older 4mph wheelchair. I do not currently own a 6mph wheelchair. Life as a wheelchair user is not easy, but a lot has been done to create accessible public transport, plus wheelchair access to shops and other buildings. While my health still allows - I try to get out and do things. Staying indoors doing nothing is not my idea of fun!
