Unearthing - Ancient Live Oak Tree Revival - Poison Ivy Removal + Mulching Timelapse | Lofi

Join us today as we revive and debulk this beautiful old oak tree on the homestead. Years of sand, volcano mulching, and vine growth have really added up, encouraging massive vines to form. Poison ivy and wild grape 3-6 inches across were climbing up to the canopy. We removed around 5 cubic yards of backfill and hundreds of feet of vines and their roots. Really put the #greenworks Maximus and its dump bed to use there! After the root flare was exposed, we laid down a healthy ring (around 2-3 inches thick) of a double mill hardwood mulch from a local landscaping company. Stay tuned for more projects around the property! #LowcountryHomestead #HomesteadingDIY #nature #timelapse #lofi #wildlife #greenworks #TimelapseTransformation #LoFiChill #NatureRestoration #DIYProjects #HomesteadLifestyle #OakTreeRevival #relaxing #studymusic #study
