Water for Peace: Surrounded Yet Stranded | A SAquaSolve Rwanda Documentary

Water is all around us. But safe drinking water? That's a different story. Meet 𝐒𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, a Rwandan-led organization working to bring safe, affordable drinking water to underserved rural communities across Rwanda! Our goal is to build 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫-𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 that turn surface water into safe drinking water and deliver it through community kiosks. 📍 𝐖𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐚, 𝐑𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, where our first phase brought together 53 community members and local leaders for two days of water, sanitation, and hygiene workshops. We also 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, empowering young people to become advocates for safe water, hygiene, and environmental responsibility in their schools and communities. With support from a $𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, we've begun laying the groundwork.
