Tub and shower transfers using a Transfer Bench

A Transfer Bench is a long rectangular seat that straddles the tub threshold allowing for persons to safely transfer into a tub stall. A Transfer Bench is helpful when someone cannot safely step into a tub due to weakness, impaired balance or if they do not have normal use of both legs.
