Taylor's Grammy Icons Interview was a Rare Moment of Humilty Taylor Swift recently gave an interview for the Grammys Icon series. It was quite rare to see her so clearly nervous and insecure in a room full of her peers. Typically we see Taylor amongst her adoring Swifties but in this interview it really felt like she was trying to prove herself to her colleagues. That vulnerability, I see, as maybe a window because to me great art comes from tension, comes from vulnerability, comes from pain. It's hard to create great art when you're at the top of the world and you have everything you could possibly want. Seeing Taylor on her back foot gave me a bit of hope for the future of her music. It also seems like she seems to be turning back towards her country roots. The next chapter might be interesting but we'll have to see.
