Battle palace baton pass testing + shiny hunt

I want to test if baton pass is at all viable. It's unreliable due to the random move selection of palace. I'm not sure if other people have tried and it didn't work for them or if they just wrote it off without trying, but I haven't seen any baton pass teams for palace. There are a couple of ideas I had for baton pass, but this is one I could try right now with pokemon I already had. I think it's either going to be really bad or quite promising. Vaporeon (M) @ Chesto Berry Ability: Water Absorb Level: 50 EVs: 248 HP / 56 Def / 160 SpA / 44 Spe Calm Nature IVs: 22 HP / 10 Atk / 30 Def / 22 SpA Acid Armor Surf Rest Baton Pass If this ends up working well I'll probably hunt for a modest one because it has similar inclinations as calm, but it can ohko nidoking (horn drill) and armaldo (swords dance) with surf. This set can ohko fast marowak (swords dance) and donphan (fissure). The Flash (Latios) (M) @ Lum Berry Ability: Levitate Level: 50 EVs: 60 HP / 184 SpA / 12 SpD / 252 Spe Modest Nature Substitute Calm Mind Rest Dragon Claw I think latias would be better, but I only have a modest latios at the moment. EVs are based on my doubles latios which is EVed to not get one shot by regice ice beam and scizor silver wind, but that's not super relevant here. I'll look into creating a better spread in the future when I have latias. Blissey (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure Level: 50 EVs: 8 HP / 252 Def / 248 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 20 HP / 18 SpA / 30 Spe Seismic Toss Soft-Boiled Toxic Substitute I was afraid of pokemon like alakazam with electric+ice coverage so a pokemon like blissey solves that. Blissey could also be insane with defense boosts. I'm a little afraid of pokemon that also have fighting coverage like electabuzz, but we'll see how it goes.
