Southampton 4-1 Bristol City… 😭 A frustrating afternoon at St Mary’s for Bristol City, but despite the scoreline, I honestly don’t think it tells the full story of the game. City competed well for large parts of the match, but Southampton were absolutely clinical when their chances came — and ultimately that was the difference. After two fantastic away wins at Preston and Burnley, we were hoping to make it three in a row. Instead, things went rather differently! 😂 There was still plenty to enjoy though — a sold-out away end, some brilliant City support, a goal to celebrate, a new Bristol City fan joining in with “UP THE SHAGGING REDS!”, Chief doing what Chief does best… and unfortunately, a few moments where things got a little heated. And yes… my prediction of Southampton 1-2 Bristol City was slightly wrong. 😭😂 But that’s football. We’ve got two home games coming up next week, so let’s stay positive and bounce back!
