Classic John Deere harvest | JD 360 trailed combine | Wheat harvest & straw baling

This is not a scene that you will see every day. This is no working day. One Dutch farmer still uses a small fleet of John Deere classics for harvesting cereals and baling the straw. It is a glorious sight to see these tractors and machines in action during the hottest and driest summer on record. The winter wheat is cut using a 1972 John Deere 2130 tractor which powers a 1970 John Deere 360 trailed combine harvester. Two tractors and trailed are stood on the headland for unloading. The straw is then baled into small square bales using a slightly newer John Deere 1140 and 224T baler. In tow is a Meijer 8-bale sledge.
