Don’t leave those piles before my eyes I have a plan now So won’t you sit down with me? I will stack the branches A pile of wood to keep us dry Tend to the rooster Sleep in and wake to his whine Rain on me, rain on me, let it pour from the sky Rain on me, rain on me, let’s just fold and align Something’s gotta give here How will we feel in five years time? Carve out a moment Unclog our minds and rewind Stick to a few things Let's take it slow and do it right Rain on me, rain on me, let it pour from the sky Dream with me, dream with me, let’s just fold and align #newmusic #indie #singersongwriter
