Slip-On Bandana Tutorial | Sew Your Pet’s Wardrobe

Welcome to the first video in my new series: Sew Your Pet’s Wardrobe! Each month I’ll take you through a new item for your lovely pet. BANDANA FABRIC MEASUREMENTS • XXS: 6” x 6” square (corners: 1.5”) Finished W: 6” x H: 4” • XS: 8” x 8” square (corners: 2”) Finished W: 8.5” x H: 5” • S: 10” x 10” square (corners: 2.5”) Finished W: 11” x H: 6.5” • M: 12” x 12” square (corners: 2.5”) Finished W: 13” x H: 8” • L: 14” x 14” square (corners: 3”) Finished W: 14.5” x H: 9.5” I used 10” x 10” in this video. These sizes are not fixed, if you want an in between size or to go larger, you can cut a square of fabric to whatever size you like! TYPE OF FABRIC I recommend a good cotton fabric especially if you’re new to sewing. Cotton won’t shift like stretch fabrics, and can handle the heat of the iron. Whatever fabric you choose, I recommend cutting a scrap first and testing the heat settings on your iron. You don’t want to ruin a good piece of fabric!
