L4D2: Loony Park [Revisited] (Hard Eight - Realism Expert)

1: Loony Park (0:00) Maze (6:12) Gauntlet Event (17:00) Fail (20:16) As I mentioned last time I played this, this map was made by Phaeton, the author who also created Dark Wood. Sadly though, this map was never finished and probably never will be given they haven’t made any more custom maps since then. But this was still a great map! Despite this being a port from the Painkiller map under the same name, it managed to look even better than the original. The visuals were enhanced and there were added custom areas like the maze. This maze managed to be enjoyable because of those cool looking decorations behind the curtains, and it didn’t go on for too long. The map as a whole was very challenging on hard 8 to where we eventually went through it with default amount of SI after almost 2 hours of playing, but I realize it was balanced well for realism expert once we cut back on the number of SI. The chainsaws, which were painkillers in this map, made the gauntlet event surprisingly fun. And the supplies before that event were somewhat harsh but still fair. Overall, this map wasn’t nearly as amazing as Dark Wood, but it was undoubtedly the best unfinished, single-chapter map I’ve played! 8.5/10 Map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
