I really wanted a functional work space in the bus so that when I am traveling I am able to work comfortably and effectively. Originally I wanted the work space to be just the desk but after building the desk area out I realized that an extra drawer would be very helpful. I remembered the style of old school desks where the top opened up and allowed for access underneath. I decided that making a drawer that also asked as a desk extension would be a perfect addition to the desk area.
