15 - KABIR SAXENA (& NICK RIBUSH) - 260926 GMR

WHAT A SESSION! This is the 11th Chenrezig Group Practice session for the FPMT GLOBAL MANI RETREAT, held from 17 May to 1 November 2026 in celebration of FPMT's 50th anniversary year. It was FPMT India’s turn to be highlighted on 26th September 2026, and what a remarkable session it was. After a wonderful slideshow highlighting some of the centres, projects and services in this holy land, Dr. NICK RIBUSH had us all mesmerized with his tales & photos of FPMT’s early days, and the trials and tribulations of setting up the FPMT centre in New Delhi, Tushita Mahayana Meditation Centre. Truly amazing and inspiring. KABIR SAXENA then led us through the Chenrezig sadhana, chanting so evocatively that some of us surely felt transported to the plains of ancient India in the days of Lord Buddha himself. His dedication ended with a heartfelt wish for FPMT to continue to flourish and benefit others, “… in this most difficult of times – it is not just rumour, not just fake news – in these times, may we have the strength and compassion to carry on, and help all mother sentient beings who are suffering so much.” Thank you so much, dear NICK & KABIR! What a team you were, in our second-to-last Group Practice session for the GLOBAL MANI RETREAT. We are filled with awe and gratitude for all that you have contributed to FPMT over the years.
