Partner School Choreographic Project 2026

The Partner School Choreographic Project is a choreographic programme that offers some students from our Partner Schools to come to Lausanne to learn and perform a unique and tailor-made choreography with a renowned choreographer. During the 2026 Prix de Lausanne, 27 dancers from our partner schools came together to create "The Gathering", an original piece by choreographer Edwaard Liang, developed over the course of a single week. The students spent eight intensive days working closely with Liang and his team to learn and rehearse this unique work. "The Gathering" was presented three times during the week: as an open rehearsal at the Choreographic Evening on Wednesday, in its world premiere on Saturday during the Interlude of the Final, and finally at the Prix de Lausanne’s closing performance, Rising Stars.
