MassMatiks - 4AM (Spoken Word Remix)

Joe and I went into our studio and reworked '4AM' with some added lyrics. Instead of doing a typical acoustic version of the same tune, we wanted to make things a bit different and more interesting for you guys to watch and listen to. We wrote out a simple beat that looped over, Joe used his loop pedal in certain places and I put my lyrics over it all - this was the end product. The idea is basically a continuation of what you hear in the original recording of '4AM', similar to the aftermath post breaking up with someone. The thoughts you have, and sometimes the decisions you make. What you hear in this video was all done in one single take. Lyrics: It’s been a few years Since I was woken up at 4am. I’d say i forgive you but There’s nothing to be forgiving. Was a wild time, with things we regret saying. In fact if I remember rightly, I was the last person calling.
