Trevor Lewis on retiring and his new Mammoth job | Utah Rink Rat

Trevor Lewis grew up in Cottonwood Heights, in a house across the street from the rink. He was drafted 17th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2006 — still the highest any Utah-born player has ever been picked — and went on to play 1,034 NHL games and win two Stanley Cups. He retired this past April. On September 15 he joined the Utah Mammoth as a video scout and youth and amateur hockey ambassador. He sat down with us to talk about all of it: walking away after 17 years, coming home, and what it would actually take to get more Utah kids on the ice. THE SHOW Utah Rink Rat is independent Utah hockey coverage. No team, no network, nobody handing us notes. Monday — Roll Call Wednesday — The Ride-Along Friday — The Kitchen Table Game days — Size-Up, before all 84 Mammoth games utahrinkrat.com Listen on any podcast app: https://feeds.captivate.fm/utah-rink-...
