Overcoming Adversity With Dana Vulin

Last year I had the privilege of speaking with Dana Vulin, the Australian burn survivor who was doused in methylated spirits and set on fire in 2012 by a disturbed woman who falsely believed Dana was involved with her estranged husband. Dana has been left with lifelong scarring and rehabilitation while her attacker was sentenced to 17 years in prison. In 2013, Dana encountered another hurdle when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. And yet, she has gone on to make one of the greatest burn recoveries in history, become the author of the book ‘Worth Fighting For’, open up her own clinic I am D aesthetics for other burn survivors, and use her experience to motivate anyone facing adversity including injury, violence, and cancer.
