Up Up Up at Beacon Hill Country Park parkrun for NHS 75th Birthday Celebration

If you want a slow start and a fast finish, head to Beacon Hill Country Park parkrun! A beautiful, woodland run that goes up and up for the first two miles but then we get the chance to fly down hill for the last mile 😄 To distract you as you're running (read walking!) up the hill various sculptures and art installations are scattered long the side of the path, from fish on bicycles to angels. Great to see Danny from ‪@WithMeNow‬ who was there running his 800th parkrun (arbitary 😂) and meant I think it was the record for the number of 500 tops I've seen at one parkrun! I also got to see "behind the scenes" as Danny was recording the pod with the RDs. Fab cafe right at the finish were we able to refuel on sausage sandwiches before exploring the nearby labyrinth. One note of warning, the car park payment only takes cash, it's £5 for over 3hrs.
