Surendra Koli, once one of the most discussed names in the Nithari serial killings case, was found dead inside a tea stall in Haridwar, around 10 months after his acquittal and release from prison. Koli had spent nearly 19 years in jail and had faced death sentences in multiple cases before being acquitted.
After his release, Koli struggled to rebuild his life. He moved between Delhi and Uttarakhand, looked for work, faced difficulties finding accommodation, and reportedly feared that his identity would prevent him from getting a job. In his final days, he had rented a small tea stall in Haridwar and was living inside it.
In this video, we explain Surendra Koli’s last 10 months, what his family and acquaintances said, how his death was reported, and what happened in the Nithari case involving Koli and Moninder Singh Pandher.
